This is another attempt at abstract. I just shot this today. I had to crop it just a little and added some saturation. Other than that, it is as it was taken. I really would like your comments as this is for my final lesson. I really want it to be good...Thanks guys..

it's a nifty shot -I'm guessing a drop of water on a CD but I could be wrong :)

I would clone out the spots to make it cleaner. but otherwise it's terrific.

Yes, I used the water and the cd disk but I had to finally get out my macro ring light and hand hold it to get the lines the way I wanted them. Plus the bright colors it made was just perfect. I have looked at this and looked at it and did not realize how many spots are on it. I will definitely clean it up..Glad to her that you liked my concept anyway.

Judy, I think it is a great abstract. The colors are brilliant. Agree about the spots.
The only think I may have altered whilst shooting this is to have the lines at more of a diagonal angle.

Judy, I really like your tilted version more than the first, but please remember this is only my personal opinion.

Sandra, I hope it is a winner. And I had a hard time with abstract also. I read just about everything I could find on the internet and looked at thousands of picture trying to get an idea. I saw this done but with more pastel colors. So I expeimented with different light reflections and when I found this one I was thrilled. Good luck with yours...and thanks for the vote of confidence....lol
