Some more photos of our trip up Northland NZ.

#1 Leigh Northland taken by "She who must be obeyed"
#2 Terns taken by "she who must be obeyed"
#3 We have Lift Off. White Fronted Tern. Disappointed with this one, I clipped the top of the birds wings.
#4 There were a lot these semi tropical medium size trees, full of these flowers. Sorry don't know what it is so I can't give you a name.

C&C sought and appreciated.

Delboy.

Hi Delboy this is a lovely series of shots. Mrs Delboy's bridge shot really made me smile with all the bird's lined up along the rails. Excellent capture. I can sympathise with your frustration at clipping the wing in #3 but an excellent shot nonetheless. I also really like your beautiful flowers, a flame tree I believe.

Mrs Delboy's first shot is a framer if ever I saw one. I absolutely love it. The second shot is great too. Nice detail on the tern. We have that tree in the fourth shot in San Diego and we call it a fire tree. Nice shots delboy.

Hi Delboy,

This looks like a beautiful and interesting place for a holiday. Everything is so green.
These are lovely shots, but must also say that Mrs. Delboy's capture is fantastic. It always amazes me that all the birds sit facing the same direction. Must have something to do with the wind?
Nice capture of the tern taking off... lovely and sharp.
I too have some shots of the same red flowers, and thanks to Shirley, I now know their name.
I look forward to the next series Delboy.

Excellent shots. That second shot with the gulls bring visions of Alfred Hitchcocks movie ''The Birds'', nicely done...

Hi All

Thank you all for your comments, and Shirley and Marianne for telling us the name of that flower. "She who must be obeyed" said she is pleased that you like her photo of the Terns on the Jetty. It was quite fascinating and weird. As Ian said, it was like a scene out the Hitchcocks movie the Birds. If you walked very quietly you could walk right along the jetty without the birds taking off just like the last scene in the film when the people come out of the house and none of the birds moved.

I am hoping Mrs Delboy will post some more of her photos as she can take a very nice photo.

Regards to you all

Delboy.
