Hey everybody, here's a few more portrait practice shots from my little makeshift studio. Please... comment away :)

Hi Jim,
I don't know studio photography so take this with a grain of salt
I think your focus is pretty good.
The wrinkled backdrops detract from the shot- I find myself looking at them instead of the subject. (That should be an easy enough fix I should think.)
The shadows are just a touch deep maybe.
These are just my impressions Jim and I don't know much (you can ask my wife) . I think you have already picked up on some of this judging by your winter photos of your daughter.

Well, I appreciate your feedback anyway lol. I see what you mean especially in the first shot. Those big wrinkles are pretty distracting running through that large negative space. The shadows are a little on the deep side, but I personally like them that way... not sure why.

Jim, I like the shadows too. They seem to add character to the face. I too find the wrinkles distractive in the first picture but overall, I like these...You did a good job...

I though the big wrinkles would look kinda cool like a big curtain, but it didn't work out so well lol.
