Here are some photos of the buildings in downtown Minneapolis I converted to B&W, along with others in the gallery.

Comments appreciated and thanks for looking.

Brrrrr Looks Cold there Debbie. I like the first one, the patterns on the roof are great.

I looked at your Gallery Debbie. I like your shots a lot. I like the B&W very much. Thanks for posting them. I especially like the one titled double reflection.

Andy - the first one is part of a stone arch bridge and the second one is the wall of that bridge, and yes it was cold and windy when I took these. But for the downtown ones, the sun came out later that same day and warmed up a bit.

Thank you everyone for the kind comments - I think I have a couple more to finish and post.

Great detail Debbie. I think I will venture down to a bridge near me soon to see the results I can get there.

This was actually a fun field trip. I've lived in this area most of my life and had never really explored or visited this bridge until I took up photography last fall. Since, I've been there twice.

It is strange how photograhpy gives you a new eye. You tend to look at things in everyday life much differently. :)

Every day, I look at somthing and wonder how/when I can get there to take a picture and how I would take it.

I like the first one, the bridge naturally frames the shot.
