Here are some shots of Snapdragons that I found on a walk.
I had done a delivery for a job that I do, and after I drove around the streets to see if I could find any interesting flowers. I found a street that looked promising and parked the car.
I came across a small house with a beautiful garden full of Snapdragons. I always feel a little self conscious taking shots of flowers in peoples' front gardens, so when their little dog came out yapping, I slowly wandered off, but then and elderly man then spoke to me and invited me in to get more shots. His wife also came out and got her husband to pick some of the snapdragons for me to take home. She then went inside to put something around the flowers and came out with a glass of chilled water as it was so hot this day. There really are some kind and lovely people around.

Here are a few of the shots:

Here are a couple more that I shot at home indoors with flash:

16912 16913

I didn't notice the piece of black cotton wound around the top of the green bud in No. 2 when I shot this! There is a dead moth or so as well!

Kaye as usual your photos are beautiful and I bet that couple were proud of their garden especially with someone wanting to take photos (I bet it made their day) :)

Thanks so much for your comment Racheal. Great to hear from you again:)
I think you're right about the couple... I think it did make their day. They were so proud of their garden.

Another love series of florals Kaye. My hands down favorite is the #3. Wonderfully composed and the colors stand out so well against the DoF. Nice story too.

Thank you so much Marianne. I have not seen all that many Snapdragons, and was amazed at the many colors in the one flower/stalk.

Thanks again Sandra, I am glad you enjoyed them, and hope you are up and about a bit more now and feeling great:)
