For which one, Sandra? They're taken from different cameras, five months apart. :)

Thanks, Judy. Glad you like them. I'm blessed to have a pair of Cooper's hawks that have staked out the field adjacent to our property as their territory. The unusual thing about the first photo is that it was taken with my bridge camera, not my DSLR. I have been accused of "doctoring" the EXIF data to make it appear as though it was taken with the Fujifilm HS-10 I had prior to my HS-20. People refuse to believe photos like this can come out of a "point & shoot". Bridge cameras stopped being P&S quite a while ago and are quite capable of some astounding things. But, some folks are stuck on stupid, I reckon. :D
Hi Gary,
I think I may have viewed these before? but they are still as great as ever. Very nice detail, especially the face in No. 1.
Who cares what camera you used.... you got a great result. I understand that the bridge cameras (I don't have one) are far more advanced than the P&S, but even a reasonable P&S can produce some great images when used properly.

My point exactly, Kaye. There are several forums that I've frequented in the past, where camera snobs look down their noses at anything other than a DSLR and make it their business to ensure you feel unwelcome on "their" forum. The mods and admins do nothing to curb or deter that sort of behavior and, in fact, on some forums it seems encouraged. When that happens, I'm gone.

thanks Gary
and I have a wonderful pt and shoot too
actually it is the one I carry in the canoe
would be easier to replace
and some of my prize photo have come from that
a great photo is who is holding the camera
you have to be able to see beyond what you are looking at
that is one of the reason the class for me is hard I get stuck on the assignment and not on yeah my cameras is out
