Some bright colors for Christmas

After weeks of rain, cloud and dull weather, a few days ago the sky was a beautiful blue (just for the day)!
I captured a few bright Hibiscus flowers that caught my eye against the blue sky.
I didn't get around to doing anything really 'Christmassy', although these are Christmas colors I guess.

I would like to wish all members, and Admin too, a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful 2012.... and look forward to viewing many of your beautiful new images in the New Year.

Thank you very much Marianne. These were some of the brightest red Hibiscus I have ever seen, and the sky on this day was magical blue. The last shot, I couldn't get into a position that I wanted for a shallow DOF, but felt it turned out OK. Have a lovely Christmas Day, Marianne. Our is now nearly over.
