I can't believe how many of these post I am missing...I come home at night and click on new post...and its never showed me this one OR the one with your male/female cardinals. I love looking at your bird shots and hate it when I miss them. I was going through the forum to see if there was anything I was missing and found these...no yellow for new post or anything...just like I'd opened them and read them already but I hadn't. Frustrating!
Anyway, this is a great photo...and I guess I never really knew what a mockingbird was...I'm not only getting an education in photography, I'm learning what all the birds are too. I was within shooting distance of a bald eagle yesterday and no camera to be had...this is my second time of missing a shot of one...:(:(:(:(

Mary, try clearing the cache in your browser. That MAY help.

If you'll notice, I just picked up a Canon SD1000 for my carry-everyplace-I-go camera. The A720IS is fine for now because I have a large coat pocket but, come warmer weather, it's going to be too much for any pocket. I'll keep in in the car with its associated lenses/converters for when I see something I have time to shoot. The Oly seems affixed to it's tripod with the 1.7x TC aimed at the feeding station but, if I really need the zoom-power, I've also got it ready to go. Nice to have options. Life is about choices. :)

Gary -
I love your bird shots - just wish I was home to catch whatever is feeding off one of my feeders.

Andy -
I'm not home during the day, but I know one feeder is getting emptied - I've refilled it twice. In the very early morning, rabbits are sitting under the feeders eating at what's been dropped.

That's a mocking bird, I always assumed they were more colourful.

Well, nothing is going from my feeder, the seed level stays the same.
