hi everyone! I would like to purchase a digital slr camera as a head start in this course. Im wondering if this team here would also be of assistance to their students too when it comes to purchasing their personal camera I believe it will be better if they're the ones who recommend the type of camera cuz i honestly dont have an idea how to start it with. :D

It would be helpful to know your criteria. Like:

* Price range
* What type of shooting you'll likely be doing
* Where you'll likely be shooting
* How much time you're willing to spend with it

You can have the greatest camera in the world but if you don't take the time to get to know it WELL and take the time to learn how to shoot with it, you may as well have a Hello Kitty camera. Granted some people seem to have a sixth sense but most people have to develop the skill/art. Are you prepared to do that? How's your stick-to-it factor? If this is just going to be a passing fancy, you're wasting your time and money.

I own an Olympus E-600. The greatest limitation is the lenses available... well, availability of lenses that I can afford. Mostly, I cannot afford much more than the basic lenses. What ever camera you are looking at, make sure you get the best lenses you can afford. Personally, I think that is the most important factor in purchasing an DSLR camera.
