On a walk last month, I came across a Gumtree which I had never seen before. It is a smaller tree unlike Australia's regular Gumtrees, and had beautiful pink blossoms all over. The lady who owned the house told me it was called a "Lollypop Gumtree". It was smothered with bees.
Thanks for looking... all CC welcome.

Kaye, it is fantastic that you carry your camera on your walks! Lucky for us! These are beautifully composed and the colors are lovely. The details of the bees are so nice and sharp. I also really like the buds in the 4th shot.

Fascinating flowers Kaye, I love the buds, they are unlike anything I've seen. #2 really stands out for me. I like the way the flower colours both blurred and sharp lead the eye to the bee which is perfectly positioned IMO.

Wonderful shot Kaye.
Like Shirley and Marianne have said, the colour and detail are really well captured.

I have been trying to get similar shots but cant get close enough. What lense did you use for this?

Thanks very much Marianne for your kind comments and feedback. My camera is the reason I go on a walk. Photography is my exercise:)

Thank you Shirley, I really appreciate your thoughts on these. I also have never seen buds like these.

Matt, thank you for your kind comments.
I used my Tamron 90mm f/2.8 macro for these shots. I love it... a brilliant lens for the price.
