Thanks, everyone. I knew *something* was up as he was the only bird at the feeder during the noon feed (not a normal thing). And, when he attempted to head towards the window, I knew something was up for sure. A milli-second later, the hawk had him. I did try to capture the hit but it was just toooooo fast.

I am not familiar with Cardinals, but thought being fairly small they would be very quick in movement and flight. I guess he was not watching:eek:

They are VERY quick. However, they slow down a lot after having run into a window. :(
