Michael, lovely series of beautiful sharp shots. Love them all, but No. 2 is just brilliant:)
You dragonfly is wonderful too.... what lens did you use for this?

Thanks Kaye, no2 is cropped due to distance, but the framing was what I had in mind when I took the shot. All shots were with my 55-300VR, not the greatest for close ups but doesn't do too bad on the zoom.

Nice shots Michael, good clarity at that zoom length, I find camera shake can become a problem. Really like your composition in #2 and #4 is excellent focus and composition.

Thanks Shirl, no 4 was a bit harder, as you probably have found Dragonflies, don't stay still for long, however this one gave me at least a minute and a half. My lens has a min focus distance of about 1.5m so I had to pretty much stand over the dragonfly fully zoomed to get it that tight and not spook it. luckily it was in am obliging mood
