this one was taken using an olympus sp550uz, a great little camera my wife bought me for christmas, small enough to not worry about carrying around, but giving me some great results ..... not actually used my D80 for about a month. Would reccomend the olymous to anyone

My point and shoot was an Olympus sp500 (something like that) and I will tell you what...it took excellent photographs. I would have never moved up, but I wanted a little more control, but the camera also broke and my warranty was up. I loved that camera!

Great capture....nice and clear. I might be wrong but I think this is the same camera that Gary gets such great results from too. I'm going to break down and get me a point and shoot to carry with me...I hate to carry my Sony on my route but miss lots of great photos because I don't have my camera. I used to have an Olympus, my daughter has it now, and it always took great photo's. I just didn't like the lag time between shots. Now I'm wishing I'd hung on to it.

I was going to but mine broke. It was draining the batteries after several photos, and Best Buy gave me the credit that I payed for it towards my A100, because I bought the full replacement value warranty. (If they do not have the same model they will usually give you a credit towards another purchase or the next model in place of it - I took the money towards my DSLR. I have never had one problem with a Best Buy warranty at all (could be because my son works there)
