Love #3 here, Doug. I think the black and white works very well. I'm not really feeling #1, #2 or #4 because of that darn chain link fence. They are nice shots but that fence is too much of a distraction for me. Although that would be a cool place to do a portrait shoot, if you can work your way in there.

Nice series Doug, but I must also agree with Eddie about the fence.
I too love the B&W image.

Hi Doug I am really taken with your 5th shot. I just love those uniform buildings/containers or whatever they are on the right. I like the way you have given a feel for the whole street but think a shot above the fence of just these 4 or taking in the red building behind for contrast would make for a strong composition.

I'll have to find a way over that fence.

It isn't the climbing that bothers me- it's the dogs...

(I made that up probably. Haven't seen any dogs. What the heck, I'll take a friend so I don't have to outrun the dogs . I'll just have to outrun him.)

I can go back and get that shot for sure. Good suggestion.
I wanted to get the fog laying just above the street surface in the capture I took.

I like the black and white as well.

Feels gritty.

OK... excuse my ignorance, but I have to ask something out of complete ignorance. Is image #1 the result of a wide-angle lens? I'm assuming it is, but
I cannot answer that without doubt. That wide spectrum would be phenomenal for Team photos. Regardless, the entire collection is totally cool. The images
with the aged brick are awesome! Can you image converting that building to your own studio with preset photo suites? OMG... that would be cool, Hub!

Hey Doug,

Image one is in fact shot with wide angle lens and then cropped a bit to make it feel longer.

It would be cool to have a place like that for studios. The whole complex is for sale-pool our money?

Thanks for the compliments.

I can totally empathize with you. I take pictures of old wooden barns. Sometimes I too wish I could just a fence or just tear it down. I think the fences work in the second picture. I wish the gate was not there. Without the gate, those fences would draw me in to the buildings. If only wishes came true. Do you have any way to get the gate opened? Or a way to get higher so that you are overlooking the gate?
