Lovely night shots, Owen. I love the lighting and composition in No. 1, but not sure about the blue "thingy"... is it a gravestone? in the foreground. I would love to see the church without this. Perhaps you took one?

No. 2 is my favourite... I love the starburst, the composition with the road, and the light on the branches of the trees.

Very cool shots, Owen. And you are a brave soul to go near some gravestones after dark. I like Kaye's suggestion on having a shot of #1 without the headstone but I also wonder how that first shot might look if you moved back a little bit and kept the same composition, but the further distance would make that headstone appear a bit smaller. I like that the shot shows the scale of how large the church is but for me, the headstone is just a bit too close in the foreground and is a bit of a distraction.

Hi thanks for viewing and comments the shot with the headstone was shot mainly to have the headstone lit which we did with separate spot light as when were setting up we noticed what we thought looked like a imprint of a ghost lol, I have in the past posted a very similar shot of just the church I will try and dig it out...
