Local Photo Club

I've been debating the last couple of days on whether or not to post this - kinda blowing my own horn, but if this is not appropriate, please let me know.

For a little background, I joined a local camera club in December and they have two competitions every month, one for a specific topic and the other for an "open" category and entries are judged by a local photographer that does not belong to the club.

For the February open topic, I submitted this picture and to my utter amazement and shock, it was given the highest points possible at this last Thursday's meeting. I want to share this achievement with the group as you are the ones that decided a similar picture was the best picture for the January POTM. If not for your encouragement, I would never have done this. I guess what I'm saying is, THANK YOU!!

I would have given it the highest points too, Debbie...this is awesome....the reflection is spot on and the clarity and sharpness is superb..a perfect photograph. Love it!
