View Full Version : Colorful Snail
A snail on my pot plant. In the first shot, I put the pot plant on my outside table which has a colorful tablecloth.
Thanks for looking.

Very nicely done. I really like these, even though snails wig me out a bit... don't know why :). The first one really stands out to me because of the color in the background, but the second one is also great.
I have to admit to getting a chuckle over the phrasing difference between OZ and the US. I know what you mean by "pot plant"... a plant that is potted and can be either indoors or outside, but, the first thing that popped into my mental picture was a "pot plant"... cannabis sativa.

Kaye, these are 2 beautiful shots. I also like the colors and detail of the first, but for me, the composition and sharpness of the second is the best!

Thanks very much Scott for viewing these and for your kind feedback. I must say, I don't like snails too much either.
You gave me a chuckle too, Scott. It's funny how the English language can be interpreted slightly differently between our countries:)

I appreciate your kind comment, thank you Nash. Yes, I took these with my Tamron 90mm f/2.8 macro.

Thank you Sandra for your comment and feedback. I know what you mean.... I am sure we see so much more than people who do not take photos.

Thanks for viewing these Marianne, and for your comments. I set up the color in the first shot on purpose (sort of to brighten up the snail). I think you're right about the sharpness of the second, but his shell is not sharp in this one. With snails it is difficult to get everything sharp, especially both antennae.
