Hi from MN. Hey I'm much younger than you. 46. Hehe

Nice pics. I really like your roses. The only thing I can see that might also work is to pull a little more detail out of the shadow from the center of the rose. Nice shots.

Another hello from MN. And I'm older than both of you, but not by much.

I like the roses as well. Your scenery shot has great reflection (one of my favorite subjects), but looks a little washed out that could be fixed in processing. Do you shoot in RAW?

Welcome to the group...I believe you are in the same weather path as we are...we just send it your way when we get done with it...:)
Your photos are good...I especially like the rose. The scenery picture is a bit washed out but could be fixed, as Debbie says. I think its hard to have non-washed out photos this time of year with all the blandness we have...Even the sky is pale. Will be looking forward to some colorful Spring images. Enjoy your stay and join right in...the more the merrier...

Welcome to our group. I live in Northeast Ohio, so I am with you with the weather. The last two days it has been horrible for us.

Lots of places have been getting it bad lately. Normally it takes me 15 minutes to get into work if I leave by 6:00AM. Today it took me 1:20 and I left at 5:30AM. Makes for looooooong days for sure.

Spring is just around the corner and I hope that as bad and endless as this winter has been, the spring and summer will be just as gorgeous!

Remember when I was complaining about too much snow? Well, I'm wishing that snow was still here. Mind you, its all still here but its melting off the gravel roads and guess what? They are one huge muddy mess...you would think they'd never had rock put on them ever...I don't understand where 100 years of gravel can go. They finally told us yesterday to stay off them. Not only were we tearing up the roads, we are tearing up package cars too...I plan on driving hard surface only today but have to wash my package car first so I can see out the windshield from the mud slinging I had to do yesterday. Ugh.

Mary - I don't envy you at all. That's gotta be pretty tough on the undercarriage of vehicles. No wonder our ancestors were always replacing wagon wheels!

I have an Amish man that owns a seed company and is an every day pickup account. I had to tell him yesterday that he was going to have to get his stuff out to the highway...I wouldn't be making it back to him till the roads dried up. It's 2 miles back in the sticks and was only a mud road until they moved there and now what little rock had been put on it is gone completely. I thought they would have to pull me out before I got out of there. They've pulled me out once a few years ago with their horses.

Same here Mary, it's so warm we got rain last night. Here's me finally getting around to washing my car then I have to go cruise the backroads like always in a search for photo ops. Needless to say, my car isn't clean anymore. It's on the list to get a truck since I tend to frequent the farm path's and rut trails instead of the actual roads.

Welcome to the group. Jump in and join us.

Could all the snow and cold be GloBull warming?

Well it's definetely warmer here than the average Feb, normally we go into a depfreeze not a spring breeze :P March is gonna be miserable if this keeps up.
