This is one area I am not real keen on so I need help with assignment 13 would you consider this abstract any information would be a big help please

this is Canna leaf I did not know what did this but after some looking around on google I found this information "Canna Leaf Rollers
Cannas are largely free of pests, but the plants some- times fall victim to canna leaf rollers, or brazilian skippers (Calpodes ethlius). it is the larva that is known for chewing straight rows of holes on canna leaves" pretty amazing I think anyway back to abstract please

Nikkie, there is entire section dedicated to Abstract Photography only in Lesson 11. It was added couple of months ago so if you missed it, definitely check it out!

Sorry, I was talking about the course, not forum. Go to the course, Lesson 11. It's in the second section of that lesson. Looking into your course logs, you were in that lesson in October 2011 so you couldn't have seen the lesson on Abstract photography then.

Nikki, this is the thread I was talking about in your other Abstract post.
Did you find this in the Lesson?

Nikkie, do you mean you can't find the section on abstract in your Lessons. You need to go back into Lesson 11 to find it.

I had already done and compleated 11 and 12 I am now doing 13 1: landscapes 2: city at night. Cheeked with this as I live so far from city I was told by greg low light twilight will do what ever I have around me. 3: portrate posed or candid 4: fast action 5: abstract 6: B&W my choice I don't understand why I am getting told to do 11 again ? I am all muddled up now

Nikkie, I am only up to the B&W assignment, so I cannot read what is in Lesson 11, but I just went to mine, and within Lesson 11, Admin added an information Lesson on Abstracts (due to high demand from students). This is for you to read and to help you with your abstract shot for the final assignment. If you go to Lesson 11, you should see this. So, no, you do not have to redo anything, but it should be helpful to read what Admin added on Abstracts.

Do you follow me now?

Hi again Nikkie,
There's no need to delete any of these posts.

When you wish to posts more abstract shots (or any shots for your final assignment) for feedback, you can post them in "Classroom"... that is what it is for.
Or, if you choose, you could post any abstracts to "Arts"... that is your choice.
There is also the "Course Members' Area" where you can post your shots for critique either by other members or by a tutor. (It will cost you some of your credits to get feedback from a tutor, but that is why you have the credits).

Please feel free to ask any further questions.
