Do we have a new theme this week yet???
No one has stepped up yet with a new theme..I've been doing some looking around to find a interesting topic but haven't figured one out yet. I believe it was Andy that suggested a topic of something from where we live that would give others an idea about our part of the country. That might be a good one or if anyone comes up with something else, they can post it. We are a bit late this week...should have been suggested on Sunday night but we will just start this one later. Maybe it would be better to suggest one on Tues. or Wed. so those of us that can't do much photography during the week would have the weekend to do the topic and then get it posted at the first of the week.

I think suggesting on Tue/Wed is a great idea and Andy's idea is great. Andy - are you getting this?

So a picture that represents the town where we live? Thats not an easy one... and that makes it interesting. I'm going to have to work hard on that one!

Yes it was me! My idea was to take a picture of your area that told a story about where you live. Perhaps, a few words to explain the actual meaning of the pic if it is not obvious.
I will start a new topic if you like with my idea and a picture to illustrate what I meant. I feel cheaky choosing the topic two weeks in a row though :p
As for leaving the topic choice until Tuesday, I dont think it really matters. As I have said before, once the topic is opened, it can be added to at any point even 4 weeks after the topic started. The idea being that say in four weeks time you take a great shadow picture, it can be added to the current thread so that other people looking for inpiration can look under the topic headings and hopfully get some ideas. If you see what I mean.

This is a good topic!I already know what I am going to photography, but I have to find the time to make it there. (and if it ever quits raining now - oh yeah its suppose to SNOW again tonight! I almost forgot)As far as the day goes, like Andy said it really doesn't matter, because you can always add to it whenever you would like. Just let me know what you decide, so I know.

Living in Canada, we just had 2 days of rain... following today by freezing temperatures and another 8-10 inches of snow. Driving in tomorrow is going to be quite the challenge!
Andy, its your idea for the next project, feel free to setup a new thread where we can post and look at what the others post. :)

Jerry - I'm sure you said this, but where in Canada do you live? I spent most of this last weekend in Thunder Bay and we had a bit of freezing rain Sun. nite.

I am in the Montreal, Quebec region. Thunder Bay is in the province next door, but still a little ways off for a drive (about a 22 hours or a quick little 1100 mile jaunt).
Been there, and actually a long time ago, bought my motorcycle from there.

I like the sound of that. Feel free to start the new topic entitled, weekly photoshots #7 Every day life.
