Just bought a new Sigma 70-200mm for my Canon 350D. I had a chance to test out a few panning shots at the weekend as well as some static shots.

Very nice. I have the Canon equivalent that I've used for architecture shots.
BTW - it looks like you're new. Welcome to the group. Where do you hail from?

Your panning shots came out very good, and what I woudl not give to have 30 min in ANY of those cars that you shot... lol.

Welcome to the forum! Are you also a class participant?

Yeah Hi everyone thanks for your comments. I've just worked my way through the course although still need to go back and do some assignments. I'm very new to photography but have just started to get into it after buying a Canon 350D in the last couple of months. I'm really into cars so this is what I take most photos of. Looking forward to seeing some nice pics on the forum.

Welcome to the group, Dan...your panning shots are really impressive. I really like the first one...you can even see the movement of the cars wheels. Looks like you picked up a great lens. I need to start saving money for a better zoom lens. My 75-300 is not the best but its got me through so far as I learn this new hobby.
