absolute beginer, love cool images, love music, hoping to conbine the two and shoot some cool music images! looking to start course asap, should i just go for it?

big thanks for the welcome! i stay a few miles outside edinburgh which is a beautiful city,so i will have plenty of intersting photo opportunities,looking forward to an exciting new challenge,i think i will enjoy the course! :)

Welcome to the forum, Derek. WOW! Edinburgh is soooo filled with photo ops! I think I'd spend a couple of days scanning in my shots from when I was there (if I were to do it heheh). Do get some shots of the Tattoo! Full of color and pageantry.

Not exactly - that's where my husband's family comes from, I believe starting with his great-grandfather. My brother in law was there a few years ago and it's someplace my husband wants to visit.

Scotland in general is a beautiful country, especially stirlingshire and the highlands,i'm sure you and your husband would love it!

That's what I've heard about Scotland beautiful. He saw his brother's pictures and would just love to go, as would I. Going to be a few years off, though.

Welcome to the group, Derek..there's no time like the present to get your feet wet and dive right in....its a great course for us beginners. I've learned quite a bit that I didn't know before and I'm just in the very beginning of the lessons. Waiting on better weather to get into the rest of it.
