The American Crow is a wily and very intelligent bird so, it's been very difficult for me to get a good shot of one. I've been putting whole kernel corn out and they've been inching in but the moment they spot any moment in the window... POOF! Gone. I considered myself fortunate to snag this one. I know the title sounds like a Dr. Seus book but... what the heck.

Sneaky, very sneaky...:) now see...that crow would not have stood out so well if you hadn't got that snow for a background:D..

I liek that crow, this I know... I like that crow, the one in the snow. LOL.

Nice shot. Crows really are hard to get good shots of.

This reminds me of a picture that my father took MANY years ago. We were in eastern Canada at a camp grounds and somehow my mom literally befriended a crow and at one point it literlally landed on her head and she fed it. My father took a picture of it, I have to find that shot... lol.

Never in a thousand years would anyone believe that a wild crow woudl trust a human enough to do that.

I believe wild Jack Doors will do that. They befriend humans and you can feed them out of your hand.

Nice shot by the way Gary, as Mary says, the snow helps it stand out so now you know that the snow is useful for something! :D

Congratulations on this shot Gary. I still think of crows as noisy, obnoxious birds.
