OK what do you have in your seed down there? I had so many feeders out and full all of the time (before the house accident) and I NEVER had that many birds, maybe two or three at the most!

Hmmmmm... thought I'd told everyone that I use black-oil sunflower seeds in the feeders, thistle seed in that little mesh bag and whole kernel corn on the open tray. I also scatter the corn around on the ground and on the porch. Most birds shun the stuff with millet and those little bitty seeds in it. Might be good for parakeets (budgies) but, not wild birds.

Oh I am sure you said it a million times, but can I remember or can I find those posts again - no. I am having a hard enough time typing - my daughter accidentally spilled something on my keyboard, and I cannot get the keys to work right. I will have to go buy a new one now. That is why I have so many typos all of the sudden. THanks I will have to give that a try when I get my new feeders up.

You can get big bags of it relatively cheap in feed & grain stores. You can get it at Home Depot or Lowe's but, it's more expensive.

Think I'll have to order some of that.
Just need to find the best place that sells it.

You can actually see quite far during your storm. I cannot see the house across the street!

~ shudder ~

I can't even imagine living in that kind of climate anymore. Cleveland, OH was bad enough.

I saw the weather report for those of you getting slammed. HOLY CANNOLI - I remember snowstorms like that when I was small. MN hasn't had a storm like that in quite a while.
