Our church started its Easter Pageant this past Wednesday. It is a huge event... every bit as good as Les Miserables or Phantom. These panoramas show the stage. Gives you some idea of the scale of this production. It takes a cast and crew of over 2000 people and lots of live animals (camels, horses, donkeys, etc) to pull it off and this year it was completely rewritten and incorporated iMax. These shots were taken from the first balcony.
The first pano is of two shots the second pano is three shots and someone brushed my arm on the third shot.

Wow there was some work put into that setup! It is beautiful! I like the camel also. I still have not tried a pano yet, but after spring or summer arrives, I am going to make sure to try it.

Indeed there was. It takes 2-3 weeks just to build the set and after the run is over, it takes 2 weeks to take it down.

Beautiful pics of a nice place. Camels are great, but often have foul tempers, love to bite and spit too. You have to love them seeing them up close. :)

I learned something while taking these shots. This is a South American camel. They are VERY docile and do NOT spit. I was spit upon by a camel in Egypt, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Carson City, NV. It's NASTY! Just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

With a vengance! Makes camel spit look like a dab with a wet hanky in comparison... lol.
Those suckers chew a lot of green grass, and when you encroach on their territory, they will spit hard enough to cover a 3 square foot area with a single snort that stinks to high heaven.
Now, how would I know that, huh? :D
Zoos are great places for kids of all ages to learn about all these little things first hand.

We had a llama on the farm, he was quite a character. He only spit a few times but his victims never wanted a repeat. He was really fond of kisses though, always wanted to give you a big smacker right on the lips. Speaking from a strict audience perspective llamas spitting can be very entertaining :P

Sammy is actually very camera shy. If I ever wanted a close up of him I had to hide the camera somehow or else he'd run away or I'd face a lensefull of green goo. They do make for interesting sceneic shots though, at first you think what a morphed cow or horse that is heh
