It took near 4 weeks, but I finally received my Proud Photography certificate of course completion.

I've not seen anyone else mention it, so I was wondering if I was the first or not?

(P.S. Peter, thanks so much yet again!)

Congrats!!! 4 weeks?? That's great. Wish I had more time to put into it, but once it gets warm, photo's will pic up.

Actualy, I did the course in about 2 weeks in January but waited for the final assignment until I came back from Florida in Febraury (did I mention that I was a fast learner?).

I meant that it took about 4 weeks to get from New Sout Wales Australia to Monreal Quebec Canada just to receive my certificate! :D

Anywyas, its not really important, I was just curious more than anything. The more important part now is finding a nice frame for it so it can go on my wall. :)

As far as I know Jerry, you are the only person so far to complete the course so I would imagine you are the only one to have a certificate.

I think there were a few before you because read this...this is on the classroom site. It doesnt say that they have a certificate yet though

You can meet all these students in our forum!

“Before I discovered Proud Photography, I signed up for another online photography course. What a rip-off! All they did was give a basic overview and take my money. They didn’t answer my more technical questions about aperture and shutter speed, and how they relate.

But your online course taught me how and when to shoot fast and slow shutter speeds. And all my questions about the aperture’s depth of field and auto exposure lock were answered!

And your course cost less than the first course I took! If only I had found Proud Photography first!”

~Bob Regal, Indianapolis

“Just wanted to let you know that I finally WON a photography contest! I’ve been entering contests for four years, but never won first place in any category. I guess there was just that extra little something missing in my images. But now I’m finally a winner! I got first place in the People and Places category in a contest sponsored by the photography department of our local college. And it’s all thanks to your awesome online course!”

~Joe Smithers, Cleveland

“I’m a busy mom with two kids, and I work full-time. But photography has been my hobby for years. I wanted to take my skills to the next level, but I never had time to take photography courses in the evenings at the local community college. But your online course allowed me to work at my own pace, whenever I could fit it in to my schedule. And my photos have never looked better! Thank you, Proud Photography!”

~Shutterbug and Mom, Phoenix

“For 20 years I’ve used a 35 mm camera. I swore I’d never use a digital camera, because what you see through the viewfinder isn’t always what you get. But I really liked the idea of being able to share photos with friends and family online--and of not cluttering the house with yet another photo album! So I signed up for your online photography course. Not only did your pros teach me how to use--and love--my new digital camera, but they also showed me the pros and cons of digital vs. 35 mm’s. So now I can choose which camera to use for which situations!”

Hi Jerry, I'm glad you finally received it. And no, you were not the first. There were other students who had finished the course long time before we even had the forum. Sorry to burst the bubble ;)

Ha-ha! No bubble burst, just curious as no one ever posted here, Peter. Thanks for the reply. :D

Just to let you know, the certificate came in perfect condition, mostly due to the way you packaged it. Thanks so much!

I am glad to have taken the course, but I bet you if I redo the course again in 6 months myself, my results will be a bit better, testament that the usefulness of it doesn't end at course's end.

The gift that keeps on giving and giving and giving and... :D

Yea. Add one more graduate to the list. Got my final feedback today. Feels good to be done, but wish PP had more courses ready to go now. :-) Thanks again Peter for everything.

Its a non-standard size for a non-standard course... lol

A custom frame is worth it. There is a place local to me that does them for $15 and he cuts the frame and assembles it in front of you. :)

I still have a few things to turn in, but I will have to wait until after August 6th, because I have too much on my plate right now. I can't wait to be able to submit more assignments.

I have to get off my tail and finish my final assignment. I still need to shot a landscape and something fast action. It's been over a month and I haven't shoot anything to finish.
