Hello everyone. My name is Kylie and I am very new to all of this but sooo excited to start learning from all of you!! I live in the Hunter Valley, NSW with my husband and crazy Jack Russell Terrior where the wine is flowing, yeahhh. I have just recently purchased a Canon 400D with Canon 24 - 105 Lens and I'm considering the online course to help me start snapping great shots!!
Hope my shots will bring some smiles...

Welcome to the group, Kelly...you will get a lot out of the course and its price is just right. You won't regret it. Don't be shy, we need more participates and more pictures to awe over.

Hi Kelly, are you posting them to the gallery? If so, just click on members gallery and you should have a My Stuff icon at the top left of the page. There will also be an upload icon..just click on that and browse to your picture folder on your computer. Then upload it. I'm not sure what the size requirements are for the gallery. Someone else might be able to tell you that more. If you use an online photo place such as Flickr, you can just post the link in your thread by clicking on the paper clip above and copying the link in the window that pops up. It will create a thumbnail of the image in the thread that we can click on to see the larger images. Hope this helps.

Depends on how you're trying to display it. If you want thumbnails, follow Mary's instructions. If, however, you would like to display the photo, it's a little different. If you use your Gallery here or Flickr, all you have to do is:
Copy the "direct link code" (In Flickr, it says "Grab the URL") to your clipboard
Start your thread - type in the text you want
Where you want to insert the photo, click on the little icon in the toolbar that looks like a picture with mountains & sun.
Copy the link into the dialog box
Click OK
Preview or Submit your thread.Hope this helps.

Thanks for your help everyone. I have managed to post a couple of photos (very slow to upload...maybe my computer) so please let me know what you think... lots to learn. I am captivated at the moment by close up work so I have a few more to post..
