The males are more colorful, Kenny. Here's a pair. The male is the one with the red.

Your bird photos always make me feel like I'm sitting in your house looking out your window and this one is no exception. Love the movement of the approaching finch...nice, clear sharp image...
BTW..my sister in law is wanting a digital camera with a nice zoom..tell me again what yours is with the 20? zoom.

Thanks so much, Mary. This was the first attempt I've made using Shutter priority. I like it!
I really enjoy my Oly SP-550UZ. Makes it look like I know what I'm doin' :D
If you click on the link in my sig line, it will give you the specs on the camera(s).

Thanks, Gary..I did some researching on it and will see what Patty says. I'm not sure how much she wants to spend. She knows nothing about digital camera's and I think this one would be great for her to start with but still allow her to advance once she is more familiar with it. My second digital was an Olympus and I loved it but never moved past the programed controls even though it had aperture, shutter and manual controls...Just never felt the need to move to them..my daughter has it now. I do remember checking to see if it would save to the raw format but it didn't..why did I check that? Who knows back then...:D When I think about how much I have to learn, I think back to how much I know now and its easier to keep pushing on. Like the day I unpacked my very first computer...I didn't think I'd ever learn how to use it...the mind is a very versatile object..:)
