This picture of the sheep and it's lamb was taken outside the power station at Dolgarrog in Conwy.

I was thinking lamb chops, but then saw the little one and went "awww, too cute".

Andy - very nice catch. It appears they just walk around wherever they want?

I take it that sheep are plentiful over there and have open range? That little guy is too cute.

There are sheep Everywhere in Wales! In some places they just wander over the road but in most cases they are in fields.

One day, I had pulled over to call my mum on my mobile and as I looked into the field beside me, I watched as a sheep had just given birth to her baby. It was a very special moment.

I did take a picture but was very consious of not distrubing the sheep, therefore the capture is not very good.

Jon, I love the expression on the sheeps face. I shows he is proud of his little one.

Now that is what I call being in the right place at exactly the right time. Since you've been sharing these lamb photos, I've been noticing more that we are having young lambs around here. Something I guess I never paid attention to until you submitted your first photo. You opened my eyes a bit more, Andy, thank you!

It's a pleasure Mary.
I love watching them. Where I live, unless I go out into the countryside, there are not many about but when I was in Conwy, they were everywhere. I love how they play and chase their parents about. One day we were travelling along the road and it was raining. This one sheep was lying on the grass, with two lambs lay next to her trying to shelter from the rain and then you had the other lamb standing on her back playing king of the castle. It was quite funny. Sadly, I could not stop to take a picture of it.
