Last two days, the temps rose a little and I was optimistic, and wore shoes to work instead of the usual boots. I think I should have looked at the weather report before leaving this morning. Here I am on the 11th floor of an office building looking out at a nice city view and its snowing yet again. Its near April and still we are getting snow.

This is rediculous. Global warming? Yeah, right... lol.

But are you taking pictures of the snow against the city view?? If it makes you feel any better, we've had below average temps for most of March and the forecast for the next week doesn't look too good either.

Yesterday it was beautiful here, and well today so far...FREEZING! I was able to get some yard work done yesterday so that felt nice.

I wish it was a little warmer too. I'm not feeling to well at the moment (Still recovering from a bad cold) and last night I was shivering like anything at work. Bring on the summer.

Spring has arrived! I am going to go swimming this afternoon... or sun-bathing, I have not decided... wait, let me open the door and take it all in.... here is the sight I was greeted with:

 Sorry, Jerry, but I'm glad its you and not me...I've had all the snow I can handle for the rest of my life. Now...we are dealing with mud...only got stuck once yesterday! Yippee!!
I've always wondered why they say snow photographs should show snow as white...I've always seen it as gray!

Jerry - looks like you got what we got on Mon-Tues. We had 5"-7" of the white stuff. But today, most of the snow is gone and the high is sunny and warm - I'm sending it your way.

Mary - Are you getting more rain/snow too? I've been watching the radar and it it's no wonder you'v got mud - it just never stops!! And yes, even though we haven't had as much snow, I'm ready for spring. I was cleaning some of my gardens yesterday and I have some green popping up. YEAH!!

We aren't getting all the rain that they are getting in South Missouri but we no more than dry up so you can drive on the gravel roads and it rains again. It rained all day on Thurs. and they are calling for rain most every day next week. I cleaned out a bunch of my flower beds today and have a lot of greenery coming up. I have some Daffodils and tulips but they aren't blooming yet. Should be blooming soon, I hope. I do believe I will be mowing yard by next weekend. Especially if we get all the rain and the temps stay up in the 60's like they are calling for. I'm ready to start the mower. Hubby took the snow blower off and put the mowing deck back on today and changed oil and filters and sharpened his blades. So, he is ready and my mower is already ready cause it just came from the shop.

Mary - we're supposed to get rain almost every day this week as well. After the boys left yesterday, I spent the afternoon cleaning out most of my flower beds as well - have the front yard to finish. I'm excited to see lots of green, but still no sign of my tulips, daffodils or other early bulbs. My hubby put the snowblower away yesterday - hopefully won't need it more. Now today, I hurt and ache in places I didn't know existed!
