Great place, just a few miles up the road, and such an abuncance of wildlife, here's a few from today

the last one is noisy but it was the best i could do, and somehing i've never seen before ... a toad ball

The bird colours are amazing and that squirrel... with the one ear down looks so impish, what a scamp! :D

The toad ball appears to be one of the rituals of mating and only happens with toads, really a sight to see, but now just appears to be a bit voyueristic lol

Okay - the toads do nothing for me, but the bird. Wonderful colors - what kind of bird is that?? Idon't think I've ever seen anything like it here.

To be honest the toads do nothing for me, but just a rarity to see for me ... never mind photograph, the bird is a goldfinch, shown just a little bit bigger than real life (about 8cm tall), i must have taken abot 50 pics of different ones yesterday, just so nice to photograph

Good subject(s), nice DOF and clarity. You may want to use rule of thirds when composing and not center your subjects, though. Well done!
