I had a blast. There were a lot of people (around 40), in a relatively small house, so I did not do all that I wanted, but I had some fun anyways.
Boy oh boy, was the birthday-boy ever hard to get to look up while in "present opening mode"... lol
Here (http://www.flickr.com/photos/jerryph/sets/72157604412772255/show/) are some pics of the event. :)

Looks like he had a great party, Jerry, and you did a good job of capturing his emotions.

I came back an hour ago from my cousin's and showed him the pics. He offered me money, of all things, for the DVD. I was quite touched, but refused the money. They are going to get many of the pics printed out... that to me, that they liked them enough to print and frame, is payment enough.

Iknow how you feel Jerry. My nephew was recently three, and trying to capture him and his emotions is very difficult.

Jerry - looks like every one had a great time. You did a very nice job in capturing the feeling of the party. And how does he rate with two birthday cakes???
Children that age get caught up in the excitement of everything and trying to capture that "opening the present" expression is very difficult I think. My youngest grandson turns "1" this week and I'm looking forward to that challenge. I need to go back and go over your notes about flash again.

Jerry you did a nice job on those photos. I refuse any type of payment as well, and then they go and buy me things I need for photography! (so I will take more photos for them) I don't mind at all!
