Hi,

I bought a compact camera a couple of years ago...it was my first digital camera. As soon as I started taking pictures I was amazed, but to be honest I just started taking photography much more serious. I bought a new camera (compact again) but know I'm saving to buy my first SLR.

raf having a DSLR is not a big deal. Photos taken with a point and shoot are just as good, if not better at times. My Olympus point and shoot took WONDERFUL photos, but it broke. Will you post some photos that you have taken with it so we can see? We love to share photos!

Sure, I will start uploading some pictures. Will be great to have feedback!!! I'm at lesson 4 at the moment so will be good to share some of the shutter speed ones...I'm having some problems with the panning effect!

the panning is one of the hardest things to do in my opinion!

Raf - once you get the hang of it, it's not too bad. But it does take lots of practice.

Yes - I will try to post the ones that I already took for comments! But definitely I need to practice!
