Is that really called a tulip tree?? I've never heard of such a thing. I have a magnolia tree that is starting to bud and can't wait to get pictures of the blooms.

Great captures...of both the grape Hyacinth and the Magnolia....no, its not a tulip tree..the Magnolia is much prettier than a tulip tree is. Our Magnolias are in full bloom right now and they are beautiful, especially with the golden Forsythia in bloom beside them.

I have to find some daylight to take them first....LOL...if the heavy rain we are getting right now doesn't knock the blooms all off, I'll try and take some on Friday...they aren't mine, they belong to the church up town. I'm shutting down...the lighting is way too close for comfort! Yikes.
