hi all,
i've came by this forum a few times in the past few months and i was wondering if someone can answer me this question. i notice some people on here sell their pictures, are there laws against what pictures you can take and what you can sell?
i also have a question regarding the course, for those who are taking the course how much time do you spend actually taking pictures? from the brief descriptions of the lesson's, it sounds like we have to submit some sort of a picture for every lesson?
any response will be greatly appreciated!
thanks,
Johnny

I can't answer your questions because I have yet to be able to take the course.
On the ? about pictures......There are copyright laws I believe about selling photos such as photos with copyrighted logos and such, and photos like lets say taken at DisneyLand but I cannot answer that question completely either. Someone will be along shortly to answer your ?'s more completely, just thought I would say WELCOME!!

thanks for the welcome ..
i'm planning on signing up for this class in a month or two. finals are coming up in may for me, so after im done with that, then ill probably sign up.
regarding the copyright laws of the pictures, i'm new to all this photography stuff, it's just a side hobby i picked up recently. i dont think ill be selling pictures for a while if ever, but it's always nice to know the rules before i get into trouble.

First off, you have to understand that asking any question that involves laws is not the best way. We have people here from Australia, Canada, USA and all over. It is normal for laws to be different in different countries.
For legal questions, I always highly suggest you call your attorney. If you don't have one, just call one and ask how much they would charge to answer a few questions... you may be surprised and they may do it for free, but I doubt it... lol.

Easy!
Just enough time to accomplish and confirm that you understand the goal of each course. Some poeple are faster than others, some people need or want more practice before moving on. Thats the nice thing about this course... you don't have to move on until YOU are satisfied.
Yes there are goals and assignments for each module, it *is* a photography course after all, right?
You can redo all the assignments except the last one as many times as you need.

Hi Kinarc... You don't have to submit photos for every lesson - but you do have to practise what you are learning. I'm on lesson 4 at the moment, its a great course and i'd definatly recommend it.
