Paid a visit to an owl sanctuary today called the screech owl sanctuary, near Newquay

The staff therer were amazing, and totally dedicated to the job and were more than helpful for me getting up close and personal to the birds ...... here a just a couple of the 150+ pics i took

Owls are one of my favorite birds and I've never seen them in the wild.

These are incredible - what lens are you using?

These are gorgeous. Lovely photos indeed. I love owls, we have a couple in our rainforest, but never had the pleasure of seeing them. Just hear their calls at night.

I like owl shots a lot too. They are likely one of the more photogenic birds out there, right up with the peacock!
