Hello from NC

Hi, all. I just found this place, and thought I'd come in and bum around a bit.

I live near Charlotte, NC with my wife, three boys, two guinea pigs and a dog the size of a small horse. :D

I've been shooting for about 7 years, but just bought my 1st DSLR this month (Canon 30D). Before that I was shooting with an EOS 1N and an EOS 5.

I'm looking forward to seeing some of the images on here and learning a bit from you all.

Thanks! That black and white conversion was with a method that I picked up in Digital Photo Pro this month.

It's a bit involved, but it gives you tons of control over the tone and contrast.
