Hey everyone,
I'm Joel from NSW Australia.
I'm a serious amature motorsport photographer setting myself up a pro career for a magazine. I'm starting to sell photos to drivers atm.
I also enjoy taking some macro, bird and weather photography.

I am currently using a Pentax K10D and am saving for a Nikon D300 next year.
I can't afford the best gear around but i get what i can that gets me through. I looking for another job atm.

Hey Joel!

Glad to see another Pentax user :)

I am just starting out.......got mine last year in October but hadn't touched it for months until recently......winter around here can get pretty boring if you want to photograph anything outside. Not much to see except white, white, and oh look....more white LOL
Unless of course we don't get snow (not the case this year) but then everything is just dead brown. :(

I am having issues getting good color with my Pentax even though I have gotten myself an expodisc for WB. Is this a known issue? I cannot find anything on it and can't get any answers on the other forums where I have asked.

Thanks for the welcome Melissa.
I haven't really had any trouble with colour so i can't help. But i have lots of issues with AF back focusing, forward focusing and not focusing at all.lol
Thanks why I'm saving for a D300.
