I am ready to submit my Lesson 10 assiginment but again I am having a hard time deciding on which one of these 4 photos to submit, since you can only submit one photo.
I shot these photos at the Gathering of the Nations Powwow in Albuquerque,NM at the end of April. While there I focused on shooting candid portraits. You where not allowed to use a flash so they where shot using the available colored spot lighting and make camera setting adjustments.

Here are 4 shots I chose, with the help of my wife, out of dozens I am considering.

I am really leaning towards the third and forth photos, but as before any Comments/Suggustions are Welcome, you all where a great help the last time I asked.

Thanks Dallas

Dallas -

I like the 4th one. The third one is nice, but part of the arm is cut off, whereas with the fourth one, you see more of a story and facial expression.

I'm with Debbie. I like the 4th one the best. The first one, the background crowd distracts me and the arm cut off the third one bothers me. I think the feather in the hat of the 4th one really adds to the height of the portrait.

Ok here's my uneducated opinon. they are all great. 1 and 3 are my favorites. #1 is a great profile I would be tempted to crop more off the bottom up to just under his arm. If you could leave just a little more room on the right side also. I think it would have more impact.
#3 I would like to see either all of the feather or a small portin of it. I would again crop just under the under arm on the right, only because of the way the arm leaves and comes back in. Hope that made sense lol. Unless you have the whole elbow and hand in the original. You should be very proud of yourself these are wonderful and full of color and fun. I hope this helps you. Now print them and hang them up they deserve some wall space.

OK here is my input on this... I really like number 4 the best. Number 3 has someone standing directly behind him, so it looks as if there is something attached to his head, when you first look at it. I really, really, LOVE the first one, BUT the audience stands out. I love the profile of it, and also the wear on his face. Number four is very nice. (Number 3's face looks hidden in all of the dress.) Very good photos! Great job.
