... and a lavender rose. All shot on black velvet using natural light from the window. The only PP I did on these was cropping and a VERY small amount of USM.

I couldn't resist this Chihuly in it's full-bloom splendor. Doesn't it look great on black velvet?

I did a little touch-up on the leaves of that Chihuly rose. They were just too distracting. Have a look.

Black velvet is the go Gary. I must post my white orchids sometime with black velvet.
As always I am amazed at your fabulous floral shots, but as we are all adults here and it is a critique corner, may I just give humble opinion? I would have used a little less water spray, to give it the illusion of dew, rather than a mist spray. Maybe you intended it to be so. If that is the case, my humble apologies.
Thank you for sharing the lilac. It brings back my childhood memories from Germany and I can actually remember the smell of them. Cheers Ingrid.

Thanks very much for your c/c, Ingrid. Point taken. Lately I've been forgetting to spritz them at all... heheh... age. Glad you enjoy the shots.
