Well I dont know if this is good or not its not really a challenge but its something since lensbaby said if anyone had any ideas go for it so i am.
Silhouettes
I absolutely love silhoette shots Im not the best at them just yet but it would be fun to see what you guys come up with.
I will try to make it a little harder by giving a rule, It has to be of people or anything living no inanimate objects. It CAN be TREES They are technically living!
Hope you have fun!!!

Ok here is mine. (I took this a while ago.) This is my daughter standing on a brick wall. I just do not like the airplane going through her body. I didn't want to do any photoshop to it though. I thought it was cool.(I know I didn't use the proper rule of thirds, but I liked the way that this was composed for this particular photo.

I have some of trees for now Im gonna try to get some of my kids later though. Remember trees are living so you can use them.
See the difference changing the color can make in PP which color do you like better?? That is a helecopter between the trees by the way. :)

Jackiee I like your third photograph. It reminds me of running through the willows on cold misty mornings. Lovely.
Re our sunrise, yes it is lovely to see the mountains, but the valley is being destroyed with too many residential areas and all the sugarcane fields are disappearing. Luckily we are on 3 acres and totally secluded. The world can pass us by.

I love both the last shots they are awesome although when you open them big you can still see a little detail in the figures try increasing your contrast in post processing if possible but either way they are still beautiful just thought i would give you a hit :)

lol thanks! I like when the topics change every week. I still have to post my summer photo! With all of my course work from school, I have not had a free moment to myself. Only a quick one to pop in here on and off. I am finished Aug 6th and do not have to go back until September 4th! I will have a few weeks to mess around with stuff.
Silhouette of tree whilst sun setting. Will try to find a more interesting shot!

Lol...thanks. I made the mistake of feeding them peanuts over the summer and he had a nut in his mouth until I scared him and he ran across the phone wire.

Sorry I have been away for so long. Somehow life just was out of control. Had surgery and needed 2 month recovery. But I am back :)
Not sure if this will be ok for the silhouette photo, but that is all I have right at the moment.

yep, you did a great job attaching the thumbnail. Nice photo. I really love the look of knarled trees and it's like the sun is sitting on the branches. :)

This is a shot I took after the I noticed the gold lining around the subject. I then altered the temperature and brightness to enhance the outline.

Congratulations to everyone for the great shots! The lady-in-waiting reminds me of the Demi Moore mag cover a few years ago. :)
