Very nice photos. The a/c unit draws my eye away from your daughter and to the unit. I really like the one of your daughter that you said you tried a different angle. Nice!

Yes, same here. But as always, gorgeous girl especially in trying out a different angle.

The a/c does distract from her.But sometimes ya just have to work with what you have. How are you at masking? Or you might try cloning it out.
I would love to see the second one as a black and white. Adorable child!

First of all let me say that the subjects are perfect. I love the looks on the girls. You can be proud.

The second photo is my favorite. The composition and the expression is perfect. That is a great photo. But... There needs to be some serious color correction done on all 4 of them.

These are great snap shots, but they all need some PP to get the color and exposure right. The second photo, which is my fav, has a blue cast that needs to be taken out to get the colors right.

The third photo which is nice, needs a little cropping on the top, and some sharpening.

The last photo is nice, but the highlights are seriously blownout. That happends when you have bright sunlight.

The first photo, even though not my favorite, has the best color and exposure because it was taken in the shade of bright sunlight. This is certainly the color you should strive for in the other photo's.

I would love to see the second photo PP and worked on in PS. Did you shoot in RAW so that the White Balance can be changed?

Very nice photo's colelover178. Thanks for sharing.

Coffee- thank you for the tips usually i just click auto adjust on them and sometimes they get a blue tint like the second i will work on it some more to make it look better i know what you mean with that. i dont know how to mask or clone i dont have any real photo software just what came with my camera i have photo explosion but i cant figure out the cloning part and i dont see anywhere for anything about masks for the first photo. i dont shoot in RAW so i cant change the white balance, im not sure how to change it manually on my camera either i should find the manual and look it up or something it might help in bright sunlight thats the time i usually get outside to take pictures and the kids are happy so thats when i do it and gives me some problems but im working on it.

Hey Jackie what kind of camera do you shoot with again? Once you do shoot in RAW you will love it. I am totally addicted to it. For some reason whenever I have spare time, it is always BRIGHT out, and I have to find alternative ways to shoot.

I have Photoshop Elements, which is very good for what I do. I've tried using the auto adjust in the past and have noticed that it doesn't always make the picture look better. It seems like if the photo is close to right in all the catagories, then the auto adjust can work well, but if the WB is way off, or exposure way off, the auto adjust makes it worse. Just something I noticed.. Might not be true.
