Hey everyone I have another question...My pics with and without the lense hood attached often have the corners shadowed as you will see in the attached file.It can happen also with zoom out or in but usually when I am zoomed out all the way. I can't have the zoom out all the way or it always does it.I am forced to zoom in some therefore on each shot and this is a brand new Nikor 18/135MM lense and never dropped etc...Thanks for any replies in advance.

Hi Jeff,
What you’re referring to is a vignette. It’s probably happening on the wide angle end of the ends. It’s a common problem with wide angle lens. You need a larger shade to stop the vignette on the wide angle sided.
With that said, I tried to reply to your other post, but it’s closed. However, I’ll leave some suggestions hear.
I’m not sure, these files do not have any camera data embedded in them, but it looks like you're shooting in JPG. JPG images generally look good in the camera, but are soft when you open them on a computer. You can bring some of the sharpness back in post by running a high pass filter. The only picture in this series that has no help is the second one. The second picture is from motion blur, the shutter speed was too slow. The other images can be made sharper in post, but they won’t be tack sharp.
I almost never shoot anything in any auto mode. I manually set exposure and focus. When shooting hand held, I shot with open apertures and fast shutter speeds. However, with that said, I think one of the best tools a photographer can have for tack sharp images is a good tripod and cable release. I would really recommend using a tripod a couple of times and comparing your results. If the images are still soft after using a tripod, you could have a defected lens. The lens you're using is a nice lens for convenience, but a zoom lens with that much range will not produce the sharpest images.
