Greetings everybody, my name is Jeff and I from Southeastern Indiana. I just signed up to take the classes and waiting to get my payment confirmation and links to be able to start the course. I have been taking pictures for many years but started with digital photography about 4 years ago using a Kodak P&S and I have been entering local competitions at our county fair for the last 4 years.
I currently have a Canon S5 IS, Digital Concepts 2x telephoto, WA with Macro, 58 MM UV, Polarization filters, Sony VCL-DH1758 telephoto conversion lens, Canon 58 MM adaptor tube and hood. I know the camera is capable of some phenominal pictures but I dont know how to use all the features like the Manual settings and all the other fancy stuff. I am hoping thru this course I will be able to learn how to become a better photographer and also learn what I need to do to use the features of the camera that I have no clue what settings I need to use.
I look forward to getting to know each of you thru the message boards and hope to learn from everybody here and hopefully take away some tricks or tips that I did not know. I have a Flickr account with some of my recent photos there that were taken with my new camera if anyone is interested in seeing some of my work before I actually start with the classes to have a start point Before base and I will use the gallery space from here to show my After progress.
