Yesterday, I decide all pictures would be done using only my Sigma 50mm macro lens. I went to a local park and captured some of the many beautiful lilies and then tried to get some food photography images with the lens. I've taken a few of the images and added boarders trying to give the images more of a competition print look to post on my blog. CC is welcome and appreciated.

WOW!!!! some of the best captures I've seen at PP. WOW again!

I Love them all, but the colors of the first one really caught my eye. Thanks for posting them.

You certainly have an eye for this. Looks like I'm doing spaghetti tonite.

Like reval8r's picture shows, when wifey gets home, I'm going to the store for shrimp and cantalope!

Thanks again for the replies. I think food photography maybe something I might enjoy learning. I need to get a book on food styling, as I have no idea what really makes for good photography in this area. Here I was just trying to keep the lighting from being flat and making it interesting with a macro lens.
