Hey everyone I have a question maybe someone may know more about...As I am learning more about photography I am using my manual mode but sometimes for a fast pic where I can't change settings I will cross to the auto mode as to not miss the moment.Question is...everytime I do so on my camera (Nikon D80) I end up with a very overexposed image? I was just wondering why as it is suppose to be AUTO. I have better luck in full maunal and I am new at DSLR so I thought it would be the other way around.Ok thanks you all for any info.

My first thought is that your exposure compensation is set to positive numbers. Set it to zero.
