While going through Two Harbors - I caught this site and never would have believed if I hadn't seen it myself. A Mustang Car Show in a Chevrolet Dealer lot. I know this isn't the greatest shot - under harsh sun at high noon, but this is only for the "how weird is that" category.

haha... a car enthusiast would see the dichotomy of this shot. Nice one!

Hey Debbie...this would be great for the juxtaposition photography rule/guideline. Have you ever looked at any juxtaposition photos? They are really neat. This was in my last lesson in school. Here is part of the lesson. I love your photo!

12. Juxtaposition

Juxtaposition is a creative concept versus a camera technique, and is often used to instigate an emotional response. The term describes the pairing of opposite elements to create a new relationship or draw attention to the disparate nature of the scene.

Okay Sue - I'm glad you explained that, first time I've ever heard of the word. When you started out, it was all greek. Is there supposed to be link? As we went through Two Harbors, we saw this car show - hubby went to the bait shop next door, I took pictures. Way too funny seeing the various Mustangs in the Chevy dealer lot.

It is actually my college course work. I just copied it from my lesson. I have been having a blast, but it is very intense. If you want me to send you the whole juxtaposition section I can.

No - that's okay. Very interesting topic I'm sure - I would think this would be a very difficult kind of shot to get.
