I have another question for you all.I always seem to goof the pics in bright sunlight.Yesterday I used ISO 100,F22 to allow little light in,and maybe about shutter speed of 1/225.My exposure bias was even set to like -4.0 and I still get very very overexposed image results...Also I was using a UV filter attached to my circular polarizer.Only other thing I can see to do is even faster shutter but is this the right thing to you all with more experience than me.Thanks to all....

Jeffrey - can you post your pictures so we can see what you're talking about?

As someone that just recently had the chance to take pictures in the most harsh and direct sun possible, I will tell you that your camera, if set up properly, will try to do the best it can, and after that, to get the last little bit out of the picture, you will have to spend some time in post process to lift shadows, lit the over dark areas, and add contrast.
Make sure that no matter what, don't overexpose. You can sometimes save a pic thats too dark (try not to be off by more than 1/2-3/4 of a stop under if you must)... but a pic thats blown out is impossible to fix.
Shoot in RAW if your camera supports it, thats another edge to getting better results.
... and yes, please post a picture, I would be interested too.
