This is a very good contrast photo. I think it will do well.

oooo! exciting! thanks alot for the positive comments. This is my favourite photo and glad its seen as a good one. i have blown it up and framed it - hanging in my daughter's room - its an ongoing project. this was at birth - will take one each year till she is 5...so we can all see how much she has grown!

What a great idea. We did this too, but with my wife's pregnant tummy. Took a pic every two weeks. Then as icing on the cake, the day I took her to the hospital to have Samantha, I talked her into slipping into a 2 piece bikini. What a great time we had. I would post a pic, but I think she would kill me. Hehehe

Joseph - coming from another women, I would have to hurt you!!!! But a great idea. For my first grandson, I did his handprints and footprints on tile which we framed and put on the wall. These are great ideas to capture those special moments.

I will post this picture. This was a week before the birth and the ever popular bikini shots. It was very close to Halloween.
I also took some pics of the pregnancy kit results, that was I could tell Sammie I knew her when she was just a "+" on a test kit. hehe

Joseph -

I absolutely love this!! It sounds like you and your wife are creating a wonderful legacy for your daughter. And the two little ones are nieces?

I really like the first one the best. Of the first two that is. (I didnt notice the other posts after - I am looking at those now) I love the way you composed it, and the colors are very nice. I like the way that it looks like I am actually there. It looks like I am part of the photo, not just a bystander.

I like the third one in this series. It looks like I am part of the photo again.

Frames: the steps. Frame is meant to frame the pic & not be the pic. Rythm: any one of them. Leading lines: 2nd one. Rule of thirds: not this pic. Reflection horizon can go in the middle, should go, otherwise spoils rythm. This pic is divided into quarters horizontally. You have some beautiful shots, I'm surprised you need a course. To get even better I guess, great. Waiting to see it.

wow - thanks for the comments - i see what you mean by rule of thirds...i was having trouble with this one....and still not sure about it - always trust your instincts, hey? i will have to go look around for more...
