First of all I like the composition in these two. I personally think they would look better in B&W given the subject.

Leading Lines? You might have a case for leading lines here. The lines do draw your eye into the photo. Is it the best example of what you might turn in for grading of LL's? I would say no. Leading lines are everywhere. You just have to look for them. You might have good geometrical photos here though.

One thing I would do is to see what these look like in B&W, to see if you can use these for lesson 7. These have an old farm feel to them, which may look great in B&W. You can't use a photo more than once for grading though.

Interesting shots though. I like them.

I just played around a little and converted these two to B&W, and I think they look very good. I had to play with the levels some to put more balance gray tones into the photos though. If you use these for your B&W, the instructor will check the levels in the B&W assignment, so make sure you adjust them accordingly. But I have to say, I do like the in B&W. But this is only a suggestion. They also make good geometrical objects.
